Q. What is the difference between an Air Mattress and a Static Mattress?
A. An Air Mattress is a dynamic mattress which the cells alternate and requires to be plugged into a     240 volt power supply. A Static Mattress could either be a foam mattress or a mattress filled with air     which remains still and does not require an electronic pump.

Q. When is pressure care needed?
A. Pressure care is needed when a patient is immobile and is at risk of developing pressure ulcers.      The following risk factors need to be considered;
